You can use EFT for many areas in life. I love it as a parenting tool. As parents we can slide up and down the emotional scale many many times a day with our family. Often ending the day still feeling those emotions ranging from sadness, guilt, shame, resentment and anger at how we may or may not have handled situations. This quick and effective take-home technique - importantly acknowledges the situation at hand and helps us get back into a regulated state, so we can respond with both respect to ourselves and those around us.
